SWC EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO PEOPLE OF GREAT BRITAIN; TERRORIST ATTACK A BARBARIC ASSAULT ONHUMANITY

"The Simon Wiesenthal Center expressed its condolences to the people of Great Britain over today’s terroristattack which killed at least 37 and injured hundreds more.

"We express our condolences to the people of Great Britain in their hour of tragedy," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, theSimon Wiesenthal Center’s dean and founder.

"This is a barbaric assault on mankind and a reminder to the G8 leaders meeting in Edinburgh that although theworld faces many problems, international terrorism remains the number one threat," he said.

"If these terrorist fanatics are not brought down, they will destroy our entire civilization," Hierconcluded.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is one of the largest international Jewish human rights organizations with over400,000 member families in the United States.
