"A big man with an even bigger heart, Bernie was a first class mensch and aproud and committed Jew," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, SWC Dean and Founder ofBernie Goldstein, major benefactor of the Simon Wiesenthal Center's Moriah Films division and the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem.

"The world is a better place because Bernie was here," added Rabbi May, the Center's executive directorwho is attending the funeral in the midwest.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center extends its deepest condolences to Bernie's wife, Renee and children, Jeff, Rob, Rich, and Kathy.
