Opinion: Blockade of Israeli ship is a misguided response to Gaza

If "The Lady With the Lamp" stood adjacent to the San Francisco-Oakland harbors, she'dturn away in shame.

Last month, pressured by protesters, Oakland longshoremen refused to offload a ship. The union members were responding to "The Free PalestineMovement," ANSWER and the International Solidarity Movement, a group whose co-founder depicted as "legitimate" and "noble" suicide bombings againstIsrael. The Bay Area activists' objective: "to blockade" a Zim container vessel whose only crime is that it's from Israel.
