| Native American twins Bennett and Benjamin Freeny, pictured left, were American soldiers who helped liberate the Dachauconcentration camp. Shortly after liberation, Bennett stripped a German officer of his Iron Cross, pictured right. Both artifacts are part of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s vast archivalholding, currently on display in the Museum of Tolerance. |
