Today marks the 16th anniversary of the passing of the legendary Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthalwho brought more than 1100 Nazi war criminals to justice. An architect by profession, Mr. Wiesenthal sought justice for his 89 family members, 6 million Jews and millions ofnon-Jews murdered by the Nazis. Despite spending almost all of his time in the hunt for the killers, Mr. Wiesenthal loved theopportunity to make others laugh by sharing his latest joke. He took great pride in saying, "When my life is over and I meet up with the 6 million, I will be proud to say to them, I have never forgottenyou." |
