Annual Top Ten Worst Anti-Semitic Incidents: SWC Releases 2019 List

The Simon Wiesenthal Center released its 2019 Top Ten Worst Anti-Semitic & Anti-Israel Incidents at apress conference in New York. The list includes the recent murders and violent anti-Semitic attacks against Jews and their institutions in Jersey City, thegreater New York area, across the US and in Europe.

Number 1 on the list − the Jeremy Corbyn-led Labour Party − was released to the British media and public five days before the historic elections in whichCorbyn suffered a devastating loss and resigned as leader of the Labour Party. Political leaders from New York joined Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Director, Global Social Action Agenda in the release of the Center's 2019 Top Ten Worst Anti-Semitic &Anti-Israel Incidents. They also discussed measures needed to deal with the aftermath of the Jersey City murders and continuing assaults against Jews in the New York area.
