WHO: Simon Wiesenthal Center to Join Protest Klinghoffer Opera at MET WHEN: 4:30 PM WHERE: The Metropolitan Opera Lincoln Center

The Simon Wiesenthal Center will participate in today’s protest against the Metropolitan Opera’s decision to present an operathat humanize terrorist murderers and give voice to blatant anti-Semitism. Rabbi Steven Burg, Eastern Director of the leading Jewish Human Rights NGO who participated in a meeting with MET directorPeter Gelb, will speak at the demonstration against the MET’s decision to present a controversial Opera Klinghoffer, which critics, including the SWC charge uses blatantanti-Semitic rhetoric and humanizes terrorists.
