Wiesenthal Center To Join L.A. Iranian Community To Protest Ahmadinejad Address At U.N. Conference

Leaders of Los Angeles’ vast Iranian community will join Wiesenthal Center officials, activists, civic and religiousleaders at a Monday moning briefing that will cover reactions to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s address that morning at the United Nations Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty ReviewConference in New York. Despite being a co-signer of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has violated it in its attempt to become a nuclear state.

The briefing will convene at the Wiesenthal Center’s Museum of Tolerance on Monday, May 3,2010 at 10:00am. TheMuseum of Tolerance is located at 9786 W. Pico Blvd (corner Pico and Roxbury) Los Angeles, 90035.
