MISSION
Promoting Tolerance
Using the lessons of the Holocaust to teach tolerance to people of all backgrounds
The statement "education is the key to tolerance" was a core belief of Simon Wiesenthal and is a foundational principle of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. One of the core lessons of the Holocaust is that no people should ever suffer indignity, persecution, or oppression on behalf of their identity.
Through our Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles and our coast-to-coast fleet of Mobile Museums of Tolerance that visit schools and community centers around the country; the Simon Wiesenthal Center is dedicated to promoting the lessons of tolerance for people of all backgrounds.
Following the wisdom and lessons of our namesake Simon Wiesenthal, Simon Wiesenthal maintain active innovative programs, teaching people of all ages and backgrounds to respect differences defend human dignity and become up standards and not just bystanders to the world around them.
