Wiesenthal Centre at the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism

The Wiesenthal Centre is annually invited to the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism, where Dr. Shimon Samuels, SWC Director for International Relations introduced the theme ofantisemitic terrorism.

Organized by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) in Herzlya, Israel, it is scheduled to mark the anniversary - this year the 15th - of 9/11.

Attended by over 1,000 from some 60 countries, including politicians, defence and intelligence officials, law enforcement and other experts, it's 2016 theme was: "Unpuzzling Terrorism".

The proceedings concluded with a simulation game scenario of an ISIS chemical attack in Berlin.

Meeting with key decision-makers, the Centre’s European office can contribute and apply approaches to security challenges in Paris and in an interconnected world.
