Wiesenthal Center Urges Obama Administration to take all Necessary Steps to Block North Korean Missiles from Reinforcing Hamas

Anti-Semitic Rhetoric Appears on US and China-based Korean Websites Sympathetic to North Korea

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is urging the Obama Administration to take all necessary steps to block North Korea from resupplyingHamas' rapidly depleting stock of missiles attacking Israel. “No one should be surprised that the Pyongyang regime, with the world’s worst record of human rights abuses, would be soughtout by the murderous Hamas terrorists who use their own civilians as human shields,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate Dean of the simon Wiesenthal Center, who is also an activist forNorth Korean human rights. “But the last thing that the Middle East needs now is a new source for terror weapons to find its way into Hamas’ hands. Such a development would only stiffenHamas’ resolve to continue on its murderous path, one that has needlessly brought death devastation to the people of Gaza and the loss of many Israeli lives.”

“There may be a related development," Rabbi Cooper added. “During the course of the current fighting in Gaza there has been an uptickin anti-Semitic rhetoric on websites sympathetic to North Korea in the US and at least one based in China. Among the slanders are—

"IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEWS AND NAZIS? NO. NO. NO.”

"DO JEWS CONTROL THE U.S. MEDIA? IT IS BEYOND DOUBT THAT JEWS CONTROL THE U.S. MEDIA.”

"THE JEWS BETRAYED JESUS. NOW THE JEWS ARE BETRAYING HUMANITY. THE JEWS ARE BURNING THE REGION.”

A China-based website (www.4thmedia.org) posted an article which alleges that Israel and the US shot down the Malaysian plane.
