Walmart is the latest to pull aHolocaust denial book from their website following a Simon Wiesenthal Center protest. Earlier, both Target and Barnes & Noble responded to the Center and pulled the titles. Walmart’s letter to the Wiesenthal Center read, in part, “Thank you for bringing to our attention thefact that this book was being offered on walmart.com. The content violates our prohibited products policy and it is no longer available for sale on our platform. We will be reinforcing our policy with ourmerchandising team for this category. Inclusion is a cornerstone of our business, and we do not tolerate any kind of discrimination…” |
