Wiesenthal Center Urges YouTube to Remove “Game” Trailer that Depicts Homophobic Murder by ISIS

Target of “Milo Tosser” is a living British Journalist

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights NGO, has urged YouTube to remove the trailer for "Milo Tosser", an onlinegame that depicts the homophobic murder of a living journalist Milo Yiannopoulos. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaVPjwWWTU8)

“Inspired by ISIS’ brutal executions of homosexuals, this homophobic game invites the player to throw the victim—flanked by twoIslamist extremists—from the rooftop of a building, aiming at targets below,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper Associate Dean of the Wiesenthal Center who heads its Digital Terrorism andHate Project.

“The individual who created this game claims to be ‘a white male.’ While clearly not being a supporter of ISIS—he curses Islam at theend of the game—he nonetheless celebrates their brutal murders of gays,” Cooper said, adding, “Further, to add potential injury to insult, this game actually targets a living human being,Milo Yiannopoulos.”

“Young people should not be exposed to such horrific hate, dehumanization and endorsement of terrorism that is insidiously presentedas a fun activity. The Simon Wiesenthal Center is therefore urging YouTube as well RIFF RAFF Games to immediately remove “Milo Tosser” from their powerful social media platforms,” RabbiCooper concluded.
