Anti-Israel Activities Spread on University Campuses; Brandeis, UC Berkeley, George Washington

George Washington University,Gelman Library
• Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) began projecting anti-Israel messages onto the GelmanLibrary in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night. The messages ranged from criticizing Israel to condemning the school and its president, Ellen Granberg.
SWC: "Estelle+ Melvin Gelman paid for the Gelman Library at GW. It’s time to shut checkbooks when a university lacks the moral decency to stop the promotion of genocide of the Jewish people."
Brandeis University
• SWC is calling out Brandeis University’s Student Union who voted down a resolution condemning Hamas andcalling on the terror group to release all of its hostages.
SWC: "IfJustice Brandeis was alive today, he’d remove his name from this elite university. Shameful. Broken moral GPS."
UC Berkeley
• Victoria Huynh, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of California,Berkeley, offered students extra credit if they attended a protest criticizing Israel's "occupation" of Gaza or lobbied their local representative about the Palestinian territories, according to a social media post.
SWC: "AtElite UC Berkeley at least one instructor decides it's easier to bribe to hate when you are propagandizing. Teaching all sides of a conflict doesn’t offer same results."
We cannot allow Jewish students to feel threatened, we must not allow anti-Israel activity to spread andfester.
