Digital Terrorism Hate And 2005 CD-ROM Report Reveals 25% Spike In Hate Sites

SIMON WIESENTHAL CENTER'S DIGITAL HATE AND TERRORISM 2005 REPORT REVEALS 25% SPIKE IN HATE SITES

The Simon Wiesenthal Center presented its 2005 interactive CD ROM Report, Digital Hate and Terrorism 2005CD-ROM to California Homeland Security Deputy Director, Erroll Southers, and 40 other law enforcement and community activists from across the nation. The briefing tookplace at the Center's Museum of Tolerance.

Tracked by the Center's Task Force Against Terrorism and Hate, the report is based on over 5,000 problematic websites that aid and abet terrorism, promote racial violence, antisemitism, and xenophobia. They include sites from every continent and in many languages including Spanish, German,Russian, Japanese and Arabic. There is also a separate section on hate games and websites targeting children.

Digital Hate and Terrorism 2005 CD-ROMis available for purchase April 15.
