ELLIOTT BROIDY APPOINTED TO SIMON WIESENTHAL CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Elliott Broidy, Chairman and CEO of Broidy CapitalManagement, to its Board of Trustees. "Elliott is an exciting and important addition to our Board," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, Founder and Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. "He brings withhim a wealth of experience as a major philanthropist and a person deeply involved in international affairs."
Elliott Broidy is the Chairman of Markstone Capital Partners, an $800 million private equity fund that invests in old economycompanies located in Israel. Mr. Broidy is also Chairman and CEO of Broidy Capital Management (BCM), a private investment firm specializing in marketable and private equity securities. He isChairman of Tomcar, Ltd., a manufacturer of off road vehicles; ESI Holdings, Inc., an event management and logistics company and also serves on the Board of Directors of Foley Timber and LandCompany.
Mr. Broidy was appointed by former Secretary Michael Chertoff to serve on the United States Homeland Security Advisory Council,as well as the Future of Terrorism Task Force and New Technology Task Force. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the Board of Trustees of The John F. Kennedy Center for thePerforming Arts. Mr. Broidy serves as a Commissioner of the Los Angeles City Fire and Police Pension Fund and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Police Foundation. He is amember of the Young Presidents Organization and serves on the Board of Advisors for the USC Marshall School's Center for Investment Studies.
Mr. Broidy serves in numerous civic and philanthropic capacities. He was recently awarded the prestigious Raoul Wallenberg Awardfor his philanthropic efforts. In addition, he has been honored by the Israel-American Chamber of Commerce and the American-Israel Friendship League.
Prior to founding Broidy Capital Management, Mr. Broidy had a successful career in money management. He is a certified publicaccountant, and received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California
Mr. Broidy lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Robin, and their three children, Rachael, Lauren and Nathaniel.
