Moriah Films' Acclaimed Documentary "In Search Of Peace" Featured

MORIAH FILMS' ACCLAIMED DOCUMENTARY "IN SEARCH OF PEACE"FEATURED

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Moriah Films division is proudlyfeaturing its acclaimed documentary, In Search of Peace this month in commemoration of Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day) whenJerusalem was victoriously reunified in June, 1967. The dramatic film footage of Israeli paratroopers capturing the Holy City is documented in thefilm.

"An unabashedly emotional and stirring inspirational history ofIsrael..." wrote The New York Times of In Search of Peace which is narrated by Michael Douglas (pictured) and features the voices of thelate Anne Bancroft and Richard Dreyfuss.

Israel's first two decades are chronicledin the film which offers new insight into the origins of the Middle East conflict.

In Search of Peacealso weaves together historical narrative, anecdotes,and dramatic personal stories, drawingon interviews with the leaders who helped make that history beginning with the United Nations partition vote in 1947 through the Six-Day War victory in1967.

Combining rare archival film and photos, the documentary examines eventsin Israel, as well as the impact on other places - the Arab refugee camps, the United Nation’s General Assembly and the world capitals of Moscow,Paris, London, Buenos Aires, Cairo and Washington D.C.
