Museum of Tolerance Joins World Faith Leaders in Indonesia forConference on Religous-Inspired Violence Survivors of Nazi Holocaust and suicide terror and faith leaders to stand against violence in the name ofreligion A survivor of the Nazi Holocaust and victims of suicide terrorism will join with leaders of the five major religions ina unique show of solidarity against religious-sanctioned violence. Tolerance Between Religions: A Blessing for All Creation, a major world gathering of Buddhist, Christian,Hindu, Jewish and Muslim leaders will be convened at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Jimbaran, in Bali, Indonesia, on June 12, 2007 from 9am to 6:00 PM. The conference, convened under the patronage of former Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid, aims to build aninterfaith coalition against religious-inspired hate and violence. The conference is being sponsored by the Wahid Institute, LibForAll Foundation and the Museum Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Museum of Tolerance will be one of the moderators of a panel, “Putting aHuman Face on the Victims of Terrorism--A Message of Hope & Solidarity,” in which survivors of suicide attacks will tell their stories as an appeal to faith figures to take the lead instopping religious- sanctioned terror --so that others will never have to experience what they themselves had to endure.
