People, Book, Land – The 3,500 Year Relationship of the Jewish People to the Holy Land

The Jewish State’s legitimacy is under daily attack in the international community, by NGOs, on college campuses and by some Church groups.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s historical exhibit, “People, Book, Land – The 3,500 Year Relationship of the Jewish People to the Holy Land” co-sponsored by the United NationsEducational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), is rebutting these assaults with the historic truth. Thousands have viewed the exhibition around the world,including in:

Denmark: The opening in Copenhagen’s medieval town included Danish Christian groups in support of the State of Israel, interfaith leaders, politicians, culturalfigures and diplomats representing 17 countries, including Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Nepal,Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.


Chicago: Dignitaries gathered at the Richard J. Daley Center for the opening which included Congressman Mike Quigley, U.S. House of Representatives, 5thCongressional District of Illinois; Alderman Michele Smith, Chicago’s 43rd Ward and Alderman Brian Hopkins, Chicago’s 2nd Ward; Reverend Mitchell Johnson, Executive Pastor, NewSeasons Church, Chicago; the Honorable Consul General Roey Gilad, Consul General of Israel to the Midwest; Rabbi Marvin Hier, Founder and Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center;Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Associate Dean; Rabbi Meyer H. May, Executive Director and Robert Hartman, Board of Trustees, Simon Wiesenthal Center and Chairman, NuCare Services Corp.

Albania: The exhibition was hosted at the Albanian Prime Minister's Centre for Open Dialogue in Tirana in the presence of Jewish Community leaders, AlbanianParliament Speaker Valentina Leskaj, Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, and Israeli Ambassador Boaz Rodkin among others.
