Help Counteract Misinformation By Distributing SWC Brochure To University Students

As you know, the Simon Wiesenthal Center recently launched its Campus Outreach initiative to supportstudents primarily on North American university campuses who are confronted with campaigns to demonize and delegitimize Israel.

Unfortunately, there is no sign of this letting up. Adding to this is the university lecture tourby former President Jimmy Carter to promote Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, his book filled with fabrications and myths about Israel.

After hearing from students across North America that there is a need on campuses to combat thiscontinuous one-sided bias against Israel, the Center’s Campus Outreach Department has created Palestine: PeaceNot Apartheid – Major Fabrications and Distortions, a brochure addressing the major distortions featured in PresidentCarter’s book.

Additionally, Simon Wiesenthal Center Campus Advocates, our campus student activists, will bedistributing our new brochure at the University of California, Berkeley when President Carter speaks there on May 2, 2007.

As President Carter travels around speaking to young people, help us give our young Jewish students thetools to fight back.
