Representative Omar Deploys Same Anti-Semitic Tropes in Her Latest anti-Israel Attack

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is urging politicians on both sides of the political divide to denounce Cong Ilhan Omar( D-Minn) for herlatest attack on Israel and hersupporters.

“Ilhan Omar is an anti-Semite who uses anti-Semitic tropes to slander Israel and her supporters,” charged Rabbis Marvin Hier andAbraham Cooper, Dean and Founder and Associate Dean and Director of Ed Snider Social Action Institute of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights NGO.

“She serially refuses to acknowledge the real reasons for the strong US-Israel alliance—shared values and strategic goals. Insteadshe continues to claim that Jewish money is the only reason for US support of the Jewish state, a talking point you would expect from the Muslim Brotherhood, Tehran, or neo-Nazis,” centerofficials added.

“As a refugee whose family came to America from her native land because of violence, war and terrorism, she should have empathy forIsrael’s struggle to secure the safety of its citizens. She has none."
