Simon Wiesenthal Center Lauds Television Presidential Debate for Including its Question on AMIA Jewish Center Bombing

Before the first-ever debate between candidates for the 22 November Presidential runoff, the Simon Wiesenthal Center proposed to organizers ofthe television 'Argentina Debate', that they include a question on the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran.

The debate, broadcast by public and private national and international TV channels, was divided into four sections.

The Center’s question on Iranian terror complicity was included under the fourth rubric on ‘Strengthening Democracy and InstitutionalIntegrity'.

Antes de la emisión del histórico primer debate entre los candidatos al ballotage presidencial del próximo 22 de noviembre, el Centro SimonWiesenthal propuso a los organizadores de ‘Argentina Debate’ la inclusión de una pregunta acerca del Memorándum de Entendimiento con Irán.

El debate, transmitido por canales de TV nacionales tanto públicos como privados así como por algunos internacionales, estuvo dividido encuatro bloques claramente diferenciados.

La pregunta del Centro respecto del Memorándum fue incluída en el bloque denominado ‘Fortalecimiento democrático y calidadinstitucional’
