LAUDS REMOVAL OF HOLOCAUSTDENIER BISHOP WILLIAMSON FROM ARGENTINE SEMINARY

The Wiesenthal Center lauded the removal of Holocaust-denier Bishop Williamson as the head of the Society of Saint Paul X’s LaReja Seminary (SSPX) in Argentina. While also commending SSPX for removing articles that charged the Jewish people with deicide, the Wiesenthal strongly urged that all remaining anti-Semiticrhetoric and references be immediately expunged from their teachings and websites.

Center researchers referenced two current postings on SSPX’s main website (SSPX.org): An essay by Bishop Salvador L. Lazo identifies the “real enemies of the Catholic Church” -“Talmudic’ Judaism is the “visible chief enemy of the Church,” he wrote. In addition, the same entry talks about “the secret machinations and about the …powerand control of Judeo Masonry [and] … its exercise in government, Church and society….”

In another posting entitled, What Vatican II Should Have Done, Brazilian Bishop, Gerald de Proenca Sigaud, wrote: “The Church is against anti-semitism. But the Church cannot ignore the facts of the past and the clear affirmations of international Jewry. The heads of this Jewry have for centuries conspired methodically and out of an undying hatred againstthe Catholic name and the destruction of the Catholic order, and for the construction of a world wide Jewish empire. This is what Masonic sects and the communists stand for…. Money, themedia, and international politics are for a large part in the hands of the Jews. Although the Jews are the biggest capitalists and should on that account be the greatest adversaries of theRussians and the communists, they do not fear them, but on the contrary, they help them to win. Those who have revealed the atomic secrets of the USA were: Fuchs, Golds, Gringlass, and Rosemberg:all Jews. The founders of communism were Jews. They are the promoters, organizers and bankers.”

“We urge the Catholic SSPX to complete its removal of all conspiratorial teachings and postings that in the past havedemonized the Jewish people and contributed to anti-Semitism and genocide,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the WiesenthalCenter.
