SWC Condemns Latest Terrorist Attack in Tel Aviv

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has condemned the latest terrorist attack that struck the heart of Tel Aviv today, wounding three,including one critically. The attack, the latest eruption of violence to strike Israel in recent weeks, took place Thursday night, when a gunman opened fire on Dizengoff Street, a popular scenefilled with restaurants and bars in the main Israeli city. The attacker fled the scene while shooting at other people in the area, before being shot dead in a shootout with policeofficers.

“Palestinian terrorism, Hamas and Palestinian Authority’s pay to slay policy, not based on Israeli ideologies whether leftright or center – they want all Israelis dead. US must stop lecturing Israel’s raucous democracy and hold Palestinians accountable for their murderous hate,” stated SWC Associate Deanand Director of Global Social Action Agenda, Rabbi Abraham Cooper.
