| The Simon Wiesenthal Center expresses solidarity with Chabad of the Beaches and thanks Long Beach Police Commissioner RonaldWalsh for the swift apprehension of the culprit who removed Torah Scrolls and Silver crowns. The synagogue, known as Chabad of the Beaches, in Long Beach, New York, was burgled over theweekend, the ark broken, Torah scrolls thrown around the floor and two other Torah scrolls stolen along with several pieces of silver. | ||||
