Global Social Action: SWC on the Frontlines

As you can see from our daily updates, our important work continues on multiple fronts. From global social action to the important task of raising worldwide awareness, the Simon WiesenthalCenter is on the frontlines. Recently, we have:
  • Dialogued with four leading African American leaders whoshared their perspectives with senior officials ofthe SWC on the current state of affairs in wake of George Floyd's murder and how Black and Jewish communities can cometogether
  • Called on the Chancellors of Germany and Austria to denounce Iran’s Supreme Leader for calling for a ‘Final Solution’ against the Jewish State
  • Joinedwith the NAACP and Jewish leaders to help pass a resolution condemning the targetingof Jewish and Asian communities
  • Urgedpoliticians on both sides of the political divide to condemn Congresswoman IlhanOmar (D-MN) for her attack on Israel andher supporters
  • Testifiedbefore the New York City Council on the dramatic spike of onlinehate targeting Jews and Asians andshared steps the SWC is taking to combat this hate
  • Denounced the head of the International Criminal Court for her outrageous anti-Israel bias and called out the travesty of justice being orchestrated by the ICC
