SWC on Palestinian Poll: Would You Agree to Two States with Such Neighbors?

Support for Hamas has more than tripled in the West Bank compared to three months ago, according to a new wartime opinion pollconducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The survey found that 72% of respondents think Hamas was “correct” in carrying out its mass slaughter, while 22% characterizedthe terrorist group’s decision to attack as “incorrect.” A whopping 89% of the respondents denied that Palestinian terrorists committed war crimes on October 7^th, while 95% claimedthat Israel breached international law during its defensive operation against Hamas in Gaza.

According to the PSR, more than half of those polled believe that Hamas is “the most deserving of representing and leading thePalestinian people today.”

”The key takeaway from this Palestinian poll is the overwhelmingsupport for Hamas’ brutal invasion ofSouthern Israel on October 7^th. While claiming that the US and other powers have lost their moralcompass, it is the continuing delusions and lies being fed to Palestinians by their politicians, UNRWA educators, and media that has perverted their moral GPS. Massmurder, rape, hostage taking, killing, mutilating toddlers, keeping kids and the elderly in underground tunnels for two months inspires the Palestinian people. Would you agree to two states withsuch neighbors?” stated Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director.
