The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights NGO, is outraged to hear that White House staffer, Omarosa Manigault, expressed interest in
working and meeting with known anti-Semite, Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam. In an interview with Chicago radio station WVON, Manigault said,“I’ve never shied away from having an open, and I believe a good, relationship with Louis Farrakhan, and so I would look forward to receiving that invitation and sitting down with him.”
“Louis Farrakhan, for the last four decades, is one of the leading voices of anti-Semitism in the world, and is fixated on blaming Jews for the world’s problems,” said RabbiMarvin Hier, Founder and Dean of the Wiesenthal Center, who last Thursday participated in the National Day of Prayer at the White House. “Having a representative of the Administrationspeak to him, gives this divisive figure a legitimacy he does not deserve.”
