The Hitler Letter: A Letter that Changed the World-New Exhibit opens at the Museum of Tolerance Los Angeles; Texas Governor Rick Perry is first public official to view exhibit

The Hitler Letter: A Letter that Changed the World, the new interactive exhibit that opened October 4, 2011 in the presence of Holocaustsurvivors at the Museum of Tolerance Los Angeles is now open to the public.

Texas Governor Rick Perry, accompanied by his wife Anita, was the first public official to view the installation housing the only letter signed by Adolph Hitler about the Jewish people, shockingin the hatred he expressed for Jews and the fact that as far back as 1919 -twenty years before WWII - Hitler so explicitly put in writing his vision of a Germany without Jews.

Governor Perry said Hitler's letter is a warning to us that we need to take seriously the genocidal threats of contemporary demagogues like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The Governor was hosted by SWC Board Chairman Larry A. Mizel along with SWC Dean and Founder, Rabbi Marvin Hier, and Rabbis Abraham Cooper and Meyer May, and Museum of Tolerance Director, LiebeGeft.
