LOS ANGELES – The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is condemning a recent article by The Washington Post in which the headlineread “Israel’s war with Hamas Separates Palestinian babies from their mothers.”
Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action at the SWC, issued the following statement:
“So-called coverage that features headlines like the one created by The Washington Post brings tears of joy to Hamasterrorists – who, as a reminder to anyone who has forgotten, led the deadly attacks over a month ago that slaughtered Jews and kidnapped innocent civilians. Continued demonization of Israel willonly create increased misinformation and hate against Israelis who are fighting to destroy terrorists who have one goal in mind - murder Jews and destroy the only democracy in the Middle East –Israel. They prove every day, including today, when they destroyed a hospital in Gaza that Hamas doesn’t care about live Gazans they’re thrilled when the death toll ramps up so that they, withthe assistance from much of the media, can blame Israel for the death toll.”
