Buenos Aires - The Argentine Federal Police arrested a man in Buenos Aires for publishing violent threats against the Jewishcommunity on Social Media.
“If Jews fire you from your job, then you kill Jews at random. If they fire me from my job, I will go to a Jewish school and kill asmany children as I can,” the detainee said less than a week ago in a 4chan publication.
The Anti-Terrorism Investigation Unit acted through federal justice as soon as it received information from the FBI.
“Antisemitic violence in the world is unleashed and governments must be prudent to not only containing it but also not feeding it.We must recognize the reaction of the government and the security forces that duly protect their Jewish communities, as in this case has happened in Argentina,” said Wiesenthal Center`s Directorfor Latin America, Dr. Ariel Gelblung.
