Dr. Ariel Gelblung, the Latin American Representative of the Wiesenthal Center was received today by 'Free Venezuela' Ambassador to Argentina, Elisa Trotta Gamus, appointed by OppositionPresident Juan Guaidó.
The diplomat shared her concern regarding yesterday's arbitrary arrest by the SEBIN (Maduro`s secret police) of Roberto Marrero, President of the National Assembly`s Chief of Staff.
She requested the Center to lead a consortium of civil organizations in the region, inspired by the lessons of Simon Wiesenthal, to demand "Justice, Not Revenge" for violators of human rightsagainst the Venezuelan people, denouncing them to the international community, preventing them from visiting other countries and eventually brought to trial, when the moment arrives.

Dr. Shimon Samuels, the Center's Director for International Relations, commented that "the Center supports 'Free Venezuela' and looks forward to an end to the occupation by Iran under the regimeof Chavez and Maduro and to the expulsion of Hezbollah from Venezuela."
"We pray for an early end to the suffering of the Venezuelan people,a return to democracy and respect for individual rights. We thank the Ambassador for her proposal to inaugurate in a 'liberatedCaracas', as soon as possible, the exhibition "People, Book, Land: 3,500 Years of Relations of the Jewish People with the Holy Land," concluded Gelblung.

El Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Representante del Centro Wiesenthal para América Latina fue recibido hoy por Elisa Trotta Gamus, Embajadora de Venezuela en Argentina designada por el Presidente EncargadoJuan Guaidó,
La diplomática compartió su preocupación por la arbitraria detención del Jefe de Despacho de la Presidencia de la Asamblea Nacional, Roberto Marrero por parte del SEBIN (Fuerza Parapolicial delGobierno de Maduro) durante el día de ayer.
A su vez, solicitó al Centro que lidere un consorcio de Organizaciones Civiles de la región, inspirado en las lecciones de Simon Wiesenthal, para reclamar “Justicia, No Venganza” a los violadoresde Derechos Humanos contra el pueblo venezolano, denunciándolos ante la Comunidad Internacional, evitando que puedan visitar otros países y que eventualmente sean juzgados cuando llegue elmomento.
El Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro, transmitió a la Embajadora que “el Centro respalda al Gobierno del Presidente Encargado Guaidó y ahnela el fin de lainfluencia de Irán en la región a través del régimen de Chavez y Maduro y la expulsión de Hezbollah de Venezuela.”
