Buenos Aires and Paris - On Friday, January 10th, Argentine radio interviewed a 1994 cultural attache of the Iranian Embassy in BuenosAires, Mohsen Rabbani.
Rabbani is sought by INTERPOL as complicit in preparations for theterrorist attack, in the same year, on the AMIA Jewish Center, which left 85 dead and more than 300 injured.
On the air, Rabbani maintained that none of the accused Iranians played arole in the attack, that the whole campaign against them is a lie, and that Prosecutor Nisman was ”killed to cover up the fact that he had no evidence against Iraniancitizens.”
Rabbani then denied that Iran had any responsibility in the explosion ofthe Ukrainian plane, that the United States is to blame for everything that happens in the world today and concluded that Israel paid Nisman to involve them. He stressed his refusal to appearbefore an Argentine court. denying the authority of its jurisdiction.
“Besides the questionable issue of granting a radio podium to afugitive who abused the hospitality of his host country, to assist in the slaughter of its citizens and to create a network through Hizbollah, still present in Argentina as sleeper cellsawaiting their wake-call..., Some years ago, our Centre identified Rabbani, then, apparently advisor to Ayattola Khameini, the Supreme leader, on ironically ‘Interfaith relations. He is stillpoliticly active and thus fit for a trial’,” argued Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director for International Relations of the Wiesenthal Center.
Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Director for Latin America,concluded: “It is not a matter of whether or not Nisman was right to accuse the Iranians. As a Prosecutor, it was his duty to assist andfollow the INTERPOL Assembly in emitting their international Red Notice arrest warrents, still valid today.”

El Centro Wiesenthal Repudia Entrevista Radial Argentina con elCómplice del Atentado de AMIA Mohsen Rabbani

El viernes pasado, una radio argentina entrevistó a quien fueraagregado cultural de la Embajada de Irán en Buenos Aires en 1994, Mohsen Rabbani.
INTERPOL busca a Rabbani como cómplice de los preparativos para el ataqueterrorista, en el mismo año, en el Centro Comunitario Judío AMIA, que dejó 85 muertos y más de 300 heridos.
En el aire, sostuvo que ninguno de los iraníes acusados desempeñó un papelen el ataque, que toda la campaña contra ellos es una mentira y que el fiscal Nisman fue "asesinado para encubrir el hecho de que no tenía pruebas contra los ciudadanosiraníes".
Luego negó que Irán tuviera alguna responsabilidad en la explosión delavión ucraniano, que Estados Unidos sea el culpable de todo lo que sucede hoy en el mundo y concluyó que Israel le pagó a Nisman para involucrarlos.
Destacó su negativa a comparecer ante un tribunal argentino. negando laautoridad de su jurisdicción.
“Además del tema cuestionable de otorgar un espacio de radio a unfugitivo que abusó de la hospitalidad de su país anfitrión, para ayudar en la matanza de sus ciudadanos y crear una red a través de Hezbolá, todavía presente en Argentina como célulasdurmientes en espera de su llamada de atención. ..., Hace algunos años, nuestro Centro identificó a Rabbani, entonces, aparentemente asesor de Ayattola Khameini, el líder Supremo, sobreirónicamente "Relaciones interreligiosas". Sigue siendo políticamente activo y, por lo tanto, apto para un juicio ", argumentó el Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director de Relaciones Internacionalesdel Centro Wiesenthal.
El Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Director para América Latina, concluyó: “Nose trata si Nisman tenía o no razón al imputarlos. Como fiscal solicitó su comparecencia, un juez (y los que revisaron las resoluciones) las ratificó y la Asamblea de Interpol (la reunión delas fuerzas de seguridad de cada uno de los países miembros) entendieron que hay causa suficiente para que den cuenta de sus actos ante un órgano judicial, y en consecuencia emitieron lasAlertas Rojas, válidas hoy en día.”
