Wiesenthal Center Urges Sears to Remove Anti-Israel Merchandise from its Online Store

Following a report that anti-Israel merchandise was being sold on the Sears.com website, Center officials urged the Chicago-based retailer to remove the items including shirts and hoodies with the classic revolutionary clenched fist logo and slogans like “Free Palestine” and“End Israeli Occupation”

Alison Pure-Slovin, SWC’s Midwest Director who is based in Chicago, reached out to the corporate offices of Sears & Co. She was told that the anti-Israel items were being sold by athird-party seller via the Sears Marketplace, but was assured that all anti-Israel items would be removed within 24 hours.
