In view of Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erakat's
officialvisit to Argentina, the Simon Wiesenthal Center today urged President Kirchner to work for peace in the Middle East by way of bilateral dialogue including the State of Israel in the process.
The letter, signed by the Center's Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels and its Representative in Latin America, Dr. Ariel Gelblung, encouraged to, "Use the visit asan opportunity to work for peace in the Middle East and an effective and lasting solution, through reaching out to both sides."

En vista de la visita oficial del Secretario General de la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina,, Dr. Saeb Erekat a la Argentina, el Centro Simon Wiesenthal instó hoy a lapresidenta Kirchner para trabajar por la paz en el Medio Oriente a través del diálogo bilateral que incluya al Estado de Israel en el proceso.
La carta, firmada por el Director de Relaciones internacionales, el Dr. Shimon Samuels y el Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Representante para América Latina, impulsan a que "capitalice laocasión para trabajar en favor de la paz en Medio Oriente por la vía del reconocimiento de la existencia de dos estados y que cualquier solución efectiva y duradera debe provenir del diálogobilateral, sin excluir al Estado de Israel del proceso.”
