The Iranian news portal for Latin America, HISPAN TV, published a note entitled "Israel uses Palestinian prisoners for new medicaltrials", thus crossing all limits of journalistic ethics and revealing their true ends.

The reported note does not cite a single piece of evidence. In addition, it was republished without prior checking against othermedia in the region, such as La República of Uruguay.
Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director for International Relations of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, commented: "HispanTV is for the Iranianregime to influence Latin America,through the presence of Hezbollah, its terrorist arm...The charge of blood libel was used against Jews since the Middle Ages. Its use by Teheran is thecrudest form of antisemitism."
"First, the title suggests that there have already been other medical trials on Palestinian prisoners. Then, and more seriously, itis a subtle way of claiming that Israel copies the Nazis victimizing Palestinians to experiment wlith them, just as Mengele and his emulators did. Iran not only denies the holocaust, but withthis type of notes it feeds the identification of Zionism with Nazism, equating the then victims with their victimizers to disqualify them," said Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Representative of the Centerfor Latin America.

El Centro Wiesenthal Denuncia Campaña de Fake News de Hispan TV
El portal iraní de noticias para América Latina, HISPAN TV, publicó una nota titulada “Israel usa a presos palestinos para nuevosensayos médicos”, superando con ello todos los límites de la ética periodística y dejando a la vista sus verdaderos fines.

La presunta nota no cita una evidencia y está colmada de la utilización del modo potencial. Además, fue republicada sin chequeoprevio por otros medios de la región, como por el diario La República de Uruguay.
Sobre la publicación, el Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro Simon Wiesenthal sostuvo: “HispanTV esotro de los medios que el régimen iraní ha utilizado utiliza para influir en América Latina, así como la presencia de Hezbollá, su brazo terrorista… La utilización del libelo de sangre contra losjudíos se remonta a la Edad Media. Su uso por Teherán implica la más cruda forma de antisemitismo.”

Luego y másgrave aún, se trata de forma sutil de sostener que Israel copia a los nazis victimizando palestinos para experimentar con ellos, tal como lo hicieran Mengele y sus émulos. Irán no solo niega elHolocausto, sino que con este tipo de notas alimenta la identificación de Sionismo con Nazismo, igualando a las entonces víctimas con sus victimarios para descalificarlos,” concluyó el Dr. ArielGelblung, Representante del Centro para América Latina
