Our dark world of hate, terrorism, and anti-Semitism needs a modern miracle of Chanukah - where a small cruze of oil can enlighten a troubled planet.

Our dark world of hate, terrorism, and anti-Semitism needs a modern miracle of Chanukah - where a small cruze of oil can enlighten a troubled planet.

Before Moses was inaugurated as the leader of the Jewish people, he first encountered the burning bush from which he learned that future miracles will be moredependent on what man does, more than what G-d does. It is our obligation to confront the terrorists and haters - we are the ones who have to develop thestrategies and educational programs to rekindle the menorah of human dignity.

That is what the Simon Wiesenthal Center does around the world every day.

• In two weeks, our exhibit, People, Book, Land - the 3,500 year relationship of the Jewish people to the Holy Land, which has been displayed in the UN, theVatican, the US Congress, in India and Muslim Azerbaijan, will open in the House of Commons – in the UK – where anti-Semitism and delegitimization of Israel aresurging.

• Before Shimon Peres passed away, he asked our Moriah Films to make the definitive film on his life’s story. The film will premiere around theworld in May 2017.

• In 2018, on the 70th anniversary of the creation of the State of Israel, Moriah Films will release a major documentary on the life of David BenGurion, the founding father of the Jewish State.

• We will continue to bring the anti-BDS fight to local communities and through our Campus Outreach Department, we are developing a new presentation debunking theBDS movement.

This is our Menorah – please help kindle it and keep the flame of memory, justice and freedom burning brightly so that together we can illuminate the darkest cornersof our planet.

Wishing you and your family a happy Chanukah,
