IRANIAN REGIME RATCHETS UP ITS ANTISEMITISM AND HOLOCAUST DENIAL

Book based on Ahmadinejad writings says that Israel’s “Holocaust myth” has collapsed and new Iranian website of Nazi-like caricatures comes online

Against the backdrop of continued protests in the streets, the Iranian regime is expanding its propaganda assault on the victims of the Holocaust and the Jewish people with the publication of anew book based on President Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust denial texts and attacks on Israel and a website replete with cartoons denigrating Jews and the memory of the Holocaust.

The book, translated as The Collapse of the Myth of Holocaust, is an eight-chapter work echoing Ahmadinejad’s main lines of attack, including labeling the Holocaust a lie and calling Israel anillegitimate state. The book’s introduction boasts that his anti-Holocaust campaign has become a key focus among Muslims around the world and helped them put aside their differences to focus onthe Palestinian/Israel situation.

Meanwhile, a new website, Holocartoons.com, with ugly caricatures attacking Jews, Judaism and victims of the Holocaust, has recently come online. “The hate, cynicism and viciousness of thiswebsite are matched only by the Nazis,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Wiesenthal Center. “As with the Nazis, these two Iranian cartoonists depict Jews with long noses, yarmulkes and ear locks, perpetrating their fraud on the world as whole or massacring and butchering innocents,” Cooper continued. “And even as the Iranian regime promotes the big lie ofHolocaust denial as state policy, these cartoonists also depict Jews as today’s Nazis.”

“It is inconceivable that a regime that depicts Jews as Nazis may soon possess nuclear weapons to use against the Jewish state.”
