“The Simon Wiesenthal Center condemns the horrific murder of Rabbi Rav Eitam and Naama Henkin by Palestinian terrorists as they drove, not far from their home, with four of their young children,” said Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, Dean and Founder and Associate Dean of theleading Jewish Human Rights NGO.
“We have no doubt that Israeli authorities will hunt down the Palestinian terrorists who gunned down two innocent people whose six children are now orphans. These attacks and the current wave of violent hate crimes, murders and physical and verbal abuse against Israelis, are taking place in a toxic environmentsupercharged by the rhetoric of PA President Abbas His reprehensible speech at the United Nations, his continuous praise for terrorists who murdered Israelis in the past and his denigration anddemonization of Jews exercising their religious rights at the Western Wall have combined to create an environment where Palestinian violence against Jews is openly sanctioned, promoted, andcelebrated,” Hier and Cooper declared.
“On behalf of the 400,000 constituent families of the Wiesenthal Center, we express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and urge world leaders to condemn—not fund— the perpetrators andvalidators of Palestinian terrorism,” Wiesenthal Center officials concluded.
