The Simon Wiesenthal Center urged Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) to withdraw his comparison of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler to President Obama. In aTweet posted, Congressman Weber criticized President Obama’s failure to participate in an anti-Islamist terrorist protest in Paris with this comment: “Even Adolph Hitler thought itmore
important than Obama to get to Paris. (For all the wrong reasons) Obama couldn’t do it for rightreasons.”
“The Simon Wiesenthal Center, along with many leaders and the media rightfully criticized President Obama for his failure to attend or send aCabinet member to the Paris march. The invoking of any comparison to Hitler in this instance is highly inappropriate and should be immediately withdrawn by the Congressman,” said Rabbis MarvinHier and Abraham Cooper, Founder and Dean and Associate Dean of the Wiesenthal Center.
