SWC Mourns the Passing of Sol LIttman, First Director of Canadian Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center mourns the passing of Sol Littman, who died at the age of 96 on January 2nd.

Mr. Littman served as the first Director of Canadian Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center,pictured (R) with Rabbi Abraham Cooper. Already established as a distinguished investigative author and researcher, Sol Littman proved to be a courageous, tenacious and unbowed crusader toforce a reluctant Canada in the 1980s to bring the Nazi War Criminals and Nazi collaborators before the bar of justice.

The leadership of the Simon Wiesenthal Center offers its condolences to his wife and family. His clarion voice and powerful words will be sorely missed.
