| WIESENTHAL CENTER CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACKS IN JORDAN The Simon Wiesenthal Center and its Museum of Tolerance condemn today’s bomb attacks on three hotels in AmmanJordan. "I think it is because of Jordanian King Abdullah's courageous stand to take Islam back from the militants thatthree hotels in Jordan were attacked today, because what the militants fear most is the rejection and repudiation of their fanaticism by the Arab world itself," said Rabbi Marvin Hier,dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. A Wiesenthal Center delegation met in Jordan in June 2005 to present His Majesty King Abdullah with its 2005 ToleranceAward. King Abdullah said, in his remarks, that the time has come to "have the silent majority stand up against what is being done in the name of Islam. Enough is enough."
