Wiesenthal Centre Alerts Organization of American States (OAS): “Salafist Extremist-Led Group to Visit Governments Across the Americas.”

The reportedly Islamist Deputy Secretary-General of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Abdur Razzaq, will be leading a ten-member Salafist extremistdelegation - allegedly linked to the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and ISIS - to meet with political leaders across the Americas.

The Centre noted that “the itinerary begins on 9 October in Washington D.C., where the group is to be received, apparently, at theUnited States Congress by Democrat legislators and think-tanks close to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.”

“From 14 to 29 October, the group is scheduled to continue their visit in Mexico, Venezuela and Bolivia... with Ecuador and Uruguaystill to be confirmed,” highlighted the Centre officials.

Jamaat-e-Islami was founded in Lahore, British India, in 1941, with the aim of galvanizing the Muslims of the Indian sub-continent, thusplaying a politicized Islamic role in the partition resulting in Pakistan.

The Centre added, “Lesser known is its missionary success in the United States and Latin America, particularly in raising funds for itsmilitary role in Afghanistan, Libya and atrocities in Bangladesh... Jamaat is linked to ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America) which, in 2015, raised 40 million dollars ostensibly formosques..."

ICNA’s former President, Mohsen Ansari, and an active leader of Jamaat, recently lauded its work, “despite the efforts of anti-Islamicmedia directed by Jews”, he stated

“Those that receive this group are probably ignorant of their guests’ role in financing, inculcating, arming and glorifying terrorism.This visit undermines new approaches to confronting terrorism in the region, such as last week’s Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay’s arrest of a Hezbollah leader in the lawless so-called‘Triple Border’ region,” argued Samuels.

“This new wave of counter-terrorism was also expressed by Argentine President Macri, who - from the podium of the United Nations -called on Iran to cooperate in arresting the planners of the Israeli Embassy and AMIA Jewish Centre bombings in Buenos Aires, for which Teheran is responsable,” addedGelblung.

“We requested the immediate intervention of the OAS to alert the respective authorities along Abdur Razzaq’s itinerary, as to thegroup’s violent background and terror affinities. Through the OAS, the Centre is urging the listed host governments to cancel their program and deny this dangerous group entry,” concludedthe Centre officials.

El Secretario General Adjunto del grupo salafista y extremista Yamaat-e-Islami, Abdur Razzaq, encabezará una delegación de diezmiembros, presuntamente vinculada a los talibanes, Al-Qaeda e ISIS, para reunirse con líderes políticos de las Américas.

El Centro señaló que "el itinerario comienza el 9 de octubre en Washington D.C., donde el grupo será recibido, al parecer, en elCongreso de los Estados Unidos por legisladores demócratas y grupos de expertos cercanos a Hillary Clinton y Barack Obama".

Yamaat-e-Islami fue fundada en Lahore, India británica, en 1941, con el objetivo de galvanizar a los musulmanes del subcontinente indio,desempeñando así un rol político en la partición que creó una Pakistán islámica.

El Centro agregó: "Menos conocido es su éxito misionero en los Estados Unidos y América Latina, particularmente en la recaudación defondos para destinar a objetivos militares en Afganistán, Libia y atrocidades en Bangladesh ... Yamaat está vinculado al ICNA (Círculo islámico de América del Norte) que, en 2015, recaudó40 millones de dólares para mezquitas ... "

El ex presidente de ICNA, Mohsen Ansari, y un líder activo de Yamaat, recientemente elogió su trabajo, "a pesar de los esfuerzos de losmedios antiislámicos dirigidos por judíos", afirmó

"Aquellos que reciben este grupo probablemente desconocen el rol de sus invitados en financiar, inculcar, armar y glorificar elterrorismo. Esta visita socava los nuevos enfoques para enfrentar el terrorismo en la región, como la detención de un líder de Hezbollah la semana pasada en la región de la Triple Fronteraentre Argentina, Brasil y Paraguay ", argumentó Samuels.
